It’s time for high-res

We’re big fans of Alpine’s push to give more drivers access to high-res audio in the car. These speakers are Hi-Res Audio Certified by the Japan Audio Society (JAS). The tweeter reaches frequencies beyond the range of human hearing, adding the nuance your high-resolution audio sources deserve. Using technology developed for their flagship F#1 Status Series, Alpine’s Next Generation S-Series car speakers provide access to all the wondrous detail of your favorite high-resolution audio files at an appealing price. We recommend aftermarket power to drive these speakers, but even with factory power, their ultra-wide frequency response ensures a detailed, authentic sound.

Innovative materials

Alpine packs supreme capability into these speakers by using highly effective materials and proprietary design elements. The lightweight woofer cone, crafted from polypropylene, glass fiber, and mica materials, serves up the essential high output/low distortion sound required for high-res performance. The High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround brings out the best in bass by allowing maximum cone movement.

A 1″ separate cloth dome tweeter serves up all the high-frequency detail you’ve been missing with factory sound. Because tweeters can be challenging to install, Alpine provides in-line crossovers and a threaded removable housing to make sure you have what you need to make them sound their best.

Grilles are not included; the factory grilles should be suitable for most applications.
